Named in the list of America’s Top Surgeons for five consecutive years, Dr. David Genecov has provided patients with cosmetic surgeries through the Genecov Plastic Surgery Group since 2001. This clinic, located in Dallas, Texas, offers services like skin rejuvenation, face and neck lifts, liposuction, breast augmentation and reductions, and body sculpting, among other procedures. Dr. Genecov joined the American Society of Plastic Surgery in 1999, and he has served on several committees for the society, including the public education, professional liability insurance, and developmental committees. He remains on the scientific instructional committee for this organization.
Over the course of Dr. Genecov’s illustrious career, he has been asked to sit on several councils and boards. He currently belongs to the pediatric advisory board for the Medical City Hospital in Dallas and to the Council of Health Care Advisors. Dr. Genecov is also currently working on several research studies. Some of these projects focus on the issues of mandibular distraction, stem cell use in bone regeneration, cranial defects, and cleft lips and/or palates. Regarding these last conditions, Dr. Genecov has completed several articles and book chapters. His first published book chapter, featured in Plastic Surgery: Indications, Operations, and Outcomes, was titled “Secondary Cleft Lip and Cleft Nasal Deformities.”
Dr. David Genecov, a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center, has traveled extensively in the United States and around the world to give lectures at conferences. He has visited Cancun, Mexico, to speak at a conference hosted by the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Genecov also has lectured in Tokyo, Japan, on the separation of conjoined twins.
